Professor Dai Xiaohu is the dean of the School of Environmental Science and Engineering of Tongji University and the director of the National Engineering Research Center for Urban Pollution Control. He is mainly engaged in teaching and research working on the stabilization of urban sludge, organic waste and efficient resource recovery. It has successively undertaken a number of national research projects, made breakthroughs in key technologies, filled a number of technological gaps, and realized industrial application. He has published more than 200 academic papers, authorized more than 60 invention patents and more than 10 international patents.

He is also a professor and doctoral supervisor at Tongji University. He is a member of the Urban Water Affairs Expert Committee of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, a member of the National Water Special Urban Water Environment Theme Expert Group, a member of the Science and Technology Development Strategy Advisory Committee of China Water Supply and Drainage Association and the Sponge City Construction Expert Committee.
Ms. Kun Zhang, graduated with a master degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, is now the director of the Böblingen-Sindelfingen sewage treatment plant, one of the ten largest sewage treatment plants in Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany. She has successively worked as the design engineer for the SAG engineers and as the chief design engineer for the Hochtief Solutions AG, the largest international construction company in Germany, responsible for the project tendering, implementation, operation, cost control and team management for several sewage treatment plants in the EU. Ms. Zhang Kun, as the leader of the German sewage treatment industry, also serves as an expert lecturer of the German Water Association, and has dedicated to domestic and foreign professional exchanges, seminars and connections for many times.
Dr. Yonggang Xue is the general manager of Tongji Environment and obtained his Doctor of Environmental Engineering from Tongji University in Shanghai. He graduated from the University of Stuttgart in Environment Management and served as the President of the Stuttgart Chinese Scholars and Students Association. He has very senior experience in the field of environmental protection both in Germany and in China.

As the Ph.D. from Kaiserslautern University of Technology, her research direction is nutrient recovery in sewage. She has also participated in scientific research projects including the design and operation of on-site small sewage systems in German rural areas, and Sino-German Cooperation projects with process improvement of sewage treatment systems based on resource recycling. She holds her Master's degree at the University of Stuttgart in Environment Management.

She was responsible for the German scientific research representative of the 12th Five-Year Plan for Sino-German Water, responsible for Jiaxing overflow outlet management, and Wuxi inverted rainbow pipeline flushing equipment research. Currently she is working for Düsseldorf Drainage Company, responsible for the investigation, assessment and restoration planning of the urban pipeline network in Düsseldorf.
